(There is also a modern hospital in town, but this clinic was clearly for those who could not afford a modern hospital.)  There was a doctor seeing patients, some children crying, and a very crude looking pharmacy.  At the entrance were photographs, including what appeared to be a caesarian pregnancy delivery.  The pharmacy had an abacus for adding up patients bills.

And just down the street was the Prague Cafe, a delightful art-deco place with pop music playing and Internet access.  This is a world of extremes.
